Grocery Bag Holder

Do any of you have the same problem I do with grocery bags taking over the underneath part of your kitchen sink?  Every time my Hubby opens those cabinet doors he comments on how he hates having all those bags under there especially with 3 little ones running around.  Can you say suffocation hazard?  So I decided to finally do something about it.
This is where my "trash liners" called HOME for several years...
Now look at their new place...
And look how clean my cabinet looks...
Here's how I made it.
Items needed:
21x25 in piece of fabric
1/4 in elastic cut at 11.5 in and another one at 6.5 in
18 in piece of ribbon
thread
sewing machine
scissors

First things first.  I taught myself how to sew about 2 years ago.  I can't follow a pattern and I don't know sewing lingo, I figure things out that I think will work and just go with it.

First sew a casing for your elastic on both ends.
Next thread your elastic through and sew the ends to secure it.  The 11.5 in elastic is for the top and the 6.5 in for the bottom.   If you want a ruffle like I have now is the time to sew it in place (sorry no pics for this.)  Now sew your ribbon on for the handle.  I burnt my ribbon edges to prevent any fraying and then turned them under 1/4 in.
Now sew the long edge up with right sides of fabrics together.  Turn right side out, stuff with bags and enjoy this...
and this...
